Welcome to The Connect (theconnectjobs.com), operated by Copyads FZE (“we,” “us,” “our,” the “Platform”). By registering for or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What The Connect Does

The Connect is a platform that connects job-seeking candidates with employers across India, the Gulf, and other international markets. We provide the technology to register, list job requirements, search candidates, and make contact. We are not a recruitment agency, employer, or guarantor of employment — we do not guarantee that any candidate will be hired, or that any employer will find a suitable candidate.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to register as a candidate or represent an employer on the Platform.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering, and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • One person or company should not maintain multiple accounts to circumvent membership limits.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. Candidate Responsibilities

  • The information and CV you provide must be accurate and belong to you.
  • You are responsible for your own communications with employers who contact you.
  • Registration as a candidate is free; you are never required to pay to create or maintain a candidate profile.

4. Employer Responsibilities

  • Job postings must be genuine, currently open positions that your company is authorized to hire for.
  • You may not use candidate information obtained through the Platform (CVs, contact details) for any purpose other than genuine recruitment.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share candidate data obtained through the Platform.
  • Search and browsing access is free for employers; viewing full CVs and contacting candidates directly requires an active membership plan (Section 5).

5. Membership Plans & Payments

  • Employer access to full candidate CVs and direct WhatsApp contact requires an active paid membership plan, as displayed on the Membership Plans page at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay’s applicable terms.
  • Prices are listed in [INR / relevant currency]; if you pay using an internationally issued card, your bank may apply currency conversion and its own fees, which are outside our control.
  • Membership plans activate a defined period of access as described on the Membership Plans page; renewal is not automatic unless stated otherwise at checkout.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or candidate information
  • Harass, discriminate against, or send unsolicited commercial messages to candidates or employers contacted through the Platform
  • Attempt to bypass membership restrictions to access locked candidate information
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Platform
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the security of the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform’s design, logo, branding, and underlying software are owned by Copyads FZE. Candidate CVs and profile content remain the property of the candidate who submitted them; by uploading, you grant us a license to display that content to relevant employers on the Platform as described in this policy and our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome (a hire, a job offer) will result from using it. We are not responsible for the conduct, accuracy of information, or actions of any candidate or employer using the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copyads FZE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, business loss, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the [12 months] preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by contacting us (see our Privacy Policy for how to request this).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [India / UAE — confirm which jurisdiction you want to govern disputes, since Copyads FZE is UAE-registered but the operating team is Kerala-based]. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [kerala, India].

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
